Pre-Orientation- Access ‘Cuse

Office of Disability Services’ Pre-Orientation – Access ‘Cuse!

Tuesday, August 22, 2017 – Move-In & Evening Reception

Wednesday, August 23, 2017 – Pre-Orientation Program

Access ‘Cuse, a pre-orientation program designed to address the unique transitional concerns of our students who are planning to seek disability-related accommodations while attending Syracuse University.

This program permits students to move-in early, allowing sufficient time for our programming without missing any of the University’s main orientation activities.

The goal of this program is to educate students about the differences between special education in high school and disability support in higher education. We review how they will access their accommodations while attending, learn about the array of resources available, and most importantly, build a community of learners that is both empowering and positive.

Registration is closed.

The Agenda for Access Cuse is now available! (Subject to change)*

Computer Assisted Real-time Translation (CART) will be provided.  If you require any other accommodations such as ASL interpretation, please email: Bethany Heaton Crawford,, 315-443-4498 by 7/28/17.
